I could continue to rant about this phenomenon, as there are plenty more instances to cite from my limited exposure to tv news alone. But what actually bothers me is witnessing this same behavior of regurgitating phrases (often empty phrases) among everyday people. Does every man feel obligated to describe himself as "easy going" or "laid back"? Do they all have to proclaim "no drama" or "drama free" as a written requirement? I understand that most men would prefer a woman who doesn't create conflict for amusement or to compensate for her feelings of inadequacy. In fact, unless otherwise noted, I would generally take this preference as a given. I hope to find a man who expresses himself, his interests and intentions, articulately, and perhaps, with a hint of creativity. I'm certainly not looking for poetry.
